Premiere Date for Alan Ball’s New Series, Banshee, Announced

TV Guide announced the premiere date for Alan Ball’s new series for Cinemax, Banshee. The action drama will air Friday, January 11, at 10/9c.
Banshee stars Antony Starr as an ex-con and master thief named Lucas Hood who takes on the identity of the sheriff in the town of Banshee, Pa. Lucas continues his criminal activities there despite his being hunted by gangsters he backstabbed years before.
Starr is joined by Ivana Milicevic, Ulrich Thomsen, Frankie Faison, Rus Blackwell, Ryann Shane and Ben Cross. Executive producers joining Ball are Jonathan Tropper, David Schickler, Peter Macdissi and Greg Yaitanes.
