True Blood Fashion Q&A: Sookie’s Hoodie, Claude’s Jacket, Nora’s Leather

With cooler weather upon us, it’s time to pull out the jackets. True Blood season 5 took place during November, so our heroes were wearing lots of jackets this year to provide inspiration. Since Audrey Fisher was pulling from 2011/2012 collections for filming, most of what was worn on screen is no longer available. We’ll do our best to find good alternatives for y’all though.

Q. Is there any chance of finding out where we can purchase Sookie’s gray with black polka dots zip hoodie from episode 6? – Nicole

A. There’s a very good chance! Audrey picked it up at H&M earlier this year; look for a similar style in their Spring 2013 collection (H&M loves polka dots for spring).

Q. Can you please ask who designed the blazer Claude is wearing (pale gray with lots of buttons) in episode 5.11, and where I can find it? Thanks! – Jesse

A. Guess what? It’s a woman’s jacket! It’s a cream suede jacket from All Saints that Audrey purchased quite a while ago and finally had a chance to use this season. It’s from a few seasons back, so it’s going to be difficult to find one. I don’t even see any out on eBay right now. Sorry.

Q. Could you please ID the gorgeous leather jacket Nora wore in the finale (“Save Yourself”) of True Blood? I couldn’t take my eyes off it! – Roma

A. Don’t you love the collar? It’s the perfect jacket for infiltrating a cult and trying to rescue a bunch of other vampires. Audrey found it at All Saints where they have a very similar style in this year’s collection, available in brown (aka Bitter) like Nora wears and in black.
