Kristin Bauer van Straten Makes Plea for NKLA [Video]

True Blood’s Kristin Bauer van Straten is a well known activist for animal rescue, and in this video she demonstrates the perks of adopting a pet from a no-kill shelter. Bauer says: “I’ve lived in Los Angeles for 19 years. I’ve volunteered at the shelters. I live with four animals who were rescued from shelters. [NKLA] is a high goal but a goal we must strive toward. There are more than enough homes. We can live in a no-kill Los Angeles.”
No-Kill Los Angeles is an initiative of Best Friends Animal Society that aims to turn Los Angeles into the largest no-kill city in the nation by providing spray/neuter services where it is needed most and increasing animal adoptions.
