We’ve got more information on the direction they are taking Alexander Skarsgard’s “Tarzan” in. It’s not what you might think! According to Vulture, this story takes place many years after Tarzan and Jane have left the Congo and are living their lives as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, in the 1800’s.

According to this, the plot summary reads:

“It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Margot Robbie) at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.”

The film is being directed by David Yates, who’s name became a household one after directing three Harry Potter films. It’s scheduled to open July 1st, 2016.

Over-night fan (almost literally) of the Sookie Stackhouse series since early 2008. Co-owner of True-Blood.net. Anxiously anticipating season 6.
