Truest Blood Season 2 Debuts with Joe Manganiello

The latest season of Truest Blood, the official HBO podcast co-hosted by Deborah Ann Woll and Kristin Bauer, is here! This time around, the duo are tackling True Blood seasons 5 and 6.

The season premiere kicks off with Deb sharing an epic overview of season 5. (Seriously, did she even take a breath???) They then segue into an interview with Joe Manganiello. He shares his story of joining the show as Alcide Herveaux, with a shoutout to us for pitching Joe for the role. Yeah, he doesn’t remember the name of our website 14 years later, but he’s talked about it before and it never fails to make us proud that Truebies here were instrumental in casting that role. Joe also talks about how he advocated for Alcide and Sookie to get together instead of sticking to the “we’re just friends” storyline that was originally planned.
