Are you ready for some True Blood goodness?!?! Liz and I are so excited about tonight’s True Blood event at Paley Fest. We’ll be covering it for you live both here on True-Blood.net and on Twitter (yay for TwitPics!). Keep refreshing for updates as the evening progresses.

Note: the event begins at 7PM Pacific, so watch for updates to begin shortly before that.

6:00 Standing in a looooong line with tons of other True Blood fans.

6:15 We’re in with great seats! Liz is going to get awesome pics!

6:30 The place is filling up fast. Lots of fun conversations going on.

7:00 Here we go! Just waiting for everyone to get seated.

7:05 Dark Shadows clip!

7:10 Moderator is Stewart Levine from Variety.

7:15 Sneak peek at season 2!

7:30 Awesome scene! Will tell all later. Skarsgard in the house! Blonde Carrie Preston, hot Nelsan Ellis, gorgeous Rutina Wesley, Mel’s fave Sam Trammell, shy Ryan Kwanten, smiley Stephen Moyer, and our leading lady Anna Paquin are all here. And finally, the head honcho Alan Ball.

7:45 Telling how they each got their roles. Alex originally read for Bill. Ryan claims he read for Bill and Lafayette. My battery is dying! Watch Twitter.

7:55 Thanks to a friend for loaning her phone. Alan is writing ep 11. They haven’t filmed in Louisiana yet this season. Nelsan’s fav scene is Bill saying I smell sunlight on your skin, the AIDS burger, and Jason dancing. Ryan – cute Aussie accent – thinks Jason is misunderstood, but not smarter than he looks.

8:00 Stephen claims to have additional footage of Ryan dancing. His fave scene was the Civil War flashback. Sam’s least fave was running naked through the woods. Stephen’s hardest scene was “Grilled Bill”. Anna enjoyed watching Sam transform, for the giggle factor. She’s hilarious!

8:05 Anna gets ppl yelling “What are you thinking, Stackhouse” in public.

12:15AM Apologies for the abrupt end to the updates here – my friend’s phone battery conked out, too. We think the Arclight might be some sort of battery-sucking vortex. Anyway, we’re working on bringing you a full report, with photos, ASAP.
