DENIS O’HARE TO APPEAR AT DRAGON CON 2018!

Truebies, we are less than one week away from Dragon Con and I’m so excited! Once Dragon Con announced that Denis O’Hare was going to be in attendance, I knew it was going to be fangtastic (with a little Russell Edgington flare) this year! You can catch Denis as well as many other celebrity guests at panels or at the Walk of Fame for autographs and photos in the Marriott (EPIC photo ops are on the international level and the Walk of Fame is on the Marquis level). I’ve summarized a list of Denis’ panels as well as other vampire-themed events below:

Friday, August 31

10:00 a.m. Vampires in Legend, Folklore, and Fiction (Westin Chastain 1-2)
Long a staple of urban fantasy, vampires first appear in folklore, often unrecognizable from the versions contemporary readers and viewers are familiar with. Our panel explores how those early stories have influenced the fictional depictions they create, and others they admire.

8:30 p.m. Interview with a Vampire Author’s Great-Grandnephew: Dacre Stoker (Westin Chastain 1-2)
Telling us a bit about himself and how he got started, Dacre Stoker relates the research he did and the discoveries he made regarding his great-granduncle’s Dracula, and his upcoming prequel novel, Dracul. A lengthy audience Q&A session will take place during the second half of the session.
