Casting Call – added 04.02.2010
The show is casting Natalie, a woman in her mid-30s who is attractive “in a trashy sorta way.” She won’t have any dialogue in this episode, but will recur in episode 309 with some dialogue and above-the-waist nudity. Somehow this reads as having scenes with Jason to me, but who knows?
True Blood also looking for a Famous Newscaster to appear in this episode, “the most famous newscaster we can get.” Major news announcement about the vampires?
Most intriguing is the casting call for Hunter, who book fans remember from the eighth book in the series. Holy timeline shift, Batman! Hunter is Hadley’s four-year-old son and Sookie’s nephew, and he’s telepathic. (Remember that Hadley is currently shacked up with Sophie-Anne, the Queen of Louisiana.) When we meet him, he’s a distressed, scared little boy who, amid his tears, has has a telepathic conversation with Sookie at the aquarium.
