Get Glue Partners With HBO For Exclusive Stickers

Are you familiar with GetGlue? It’s a social networking site and iPhone app where you can check-in with what you’re watching, reading, listening to, even what kind of wine you’re drinking. See who else is also currently doing what you’re doing and leave comments. As you build your profile, GetGlue will recommend other shows or bands you might be interested in based on what you’ve checked in with previously. Neat, huh?

True Blood stickers for GetGlue`

In addition to the networking aspect, GetGlue users earn stickers for checking-in, which are displayed on your profile. After you’ve earned seven stickers, you get the physical stickers in the mail (we think they’d look good on a laptop case).

GetGlue is announcing a new partnership with HBO today, boasting exclusive stickers for True Blood, Hung, and Entourage. GetGlue users will be able to earn the stickers by checking-in to the shows using GetGlue iPhone app starting Sunday, August 1st.

Some of the stickers will unlock after fans check-in to the show several times. The other stickers are a secret and will require familiarity with the show and ingenuity to earn. HBO is planning to offer hints on how to earn the stickers in coming weeks via their Twitter and Facebook accounts.
