HBO just released the official synopses for the True Blood episodes airing in July and they are spoileriffic! Seriously, don’t read ahead if you don’t want to know some juicy details.
Episode 204: “Shake and Fingerpop”
Debut: SUNDAY, JULY 12 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT)With Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) in tow, Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Sookie (Anna Paquin) head to Dallas to carry out Eric’s (Alexander Skarsgård) vampire-reconnaissance mission – but a surprise awaits them at the airport. At the Light of Day Institute, Jason (Ryan Kwanten) falls victim to a practical joke, but has the last laugh when the Newlins anoint him for a higher calling. Maryann (Michelle Forbes) throws Tara (Rutina Wesley) a birthday party at Sookie’s, attracting much of Bon Temps to its Bacchanalian revelry. Sam (Sam Trammell) postpones his departure from town to attend the bash, connecting with Daphne (Ashley Jones) in the process. Having barely escaped Fangtasia, Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) finds himself reluctantly pulled back into Eric’s orbit.

Episode 205: “Never Let Me Go”
Debut: SUNDAY, JULY 19 (9:00-10:00 p.m.)In Dallas, Sookie connects with one of her own, then joins Bill and Eric for a strategic summit at the lair of the missing vampire, Godric (Allan Hyde), attended by his lieutenants, Stan (Ed Quinn) and Isabel (Valerie Cruz). Meanwhile, Jason shows his mettle at a Light of Day boot camp, and is rewarded for his hard work with a gift from Sarah (Anna Camp). Rebuffed by Tara in her relocation efforts, Maryann decides to cast her spell on the staff of Merlotte’s, softening Tara up towards her new “family.” Eric shares a little-known secret about his past with Bill, and Sookie makes a decision that might solve the Godric mystery – or get her killed.

Episode 206: “Hard-Hearted Hannah”
Debut: SUNDAY, JULY 26 (9:00-10:00 p.m.)Accompanied by Isabel’s human boyfriend Hugo (Christopher Gartin), Sookie embarks on a dangerous mission to locate Godric. Meanwhile, Bill is shocked when a vampire from his distant, more violent past resurfaces in Dallas. In Bon Temps, Daphne presses Sam to get comfortable in his own skin(s); Hoyt (Jim Parrack) continues his unlikely courtship of Jessica; Andy (Chris Bauer) interrogates Lafayette about his disappearance; and Tara and Eggs (Mehcad Brooks) take a detour while on a road trip. At the Light of Day camp, Jason faces difficult emotional and physical choices.

oh my god i can’t wait. the only thing thats bothering me is the whole eric and Lafayette thing. i don’t want to see eric and lafayette , i want to see eric and sookie
This implies problems between Bill and Sookie…I have read a few of the books and I wish all who are in control would keep them together and then give the couple problems…Anyway THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for supplying these spoilers, the anticpation gets intense and angst-ridden.

OMG i started watching the show just before season two started and i’m hooked!! I went out and bought season one and i can’t wait to see season two! Sookie and Bill better stay together!! It’s the conection between those two and heartache that Sam has in watching it all that has me hooked! Lafayette better not die! And what the hell is Maryann????? It’s a great story.
I believe she is a Maenad. A female follower of the Greek God Dionyous. Most probably know him as the Roman God Baachus. Maenad from the Greek meaning frenzied woman.

As a homosexual, I really want to see Eric and Lafayette’s relationship flourish. There love should know no bounds, and TrueBlood would be a great asset in support of gay marriage in this country. I think it requires an open mind to appreciate the show, the same open mind to advocate gay rights in this country.
i literally am just finishing the second book in the series and these episode teasers look GREAT in bringing the story back around to dovetail just as nice as the first season with ‘dead until dark’-the 1st book.
if things follow the path of the dead in dallas storyline, frank—i think youll see a more overt ENTIRELY gay vampire come into view…but who REALLY knows?
i really think that what we saw between eric and layfayette were the two great actors shining in their less prominent parts SPECTACULARLY. the chemistry was POTENT…id just depends on how you read it.

Maryann seems dangerous. Why does she want Tara so much? Will we see more of Tara and Sam. I think they make a good couple- it strays away from the book and that’s what I like the most.

As a maenad, what is Maryann’s purpose with Tara? And getting her together with the other black guy (forgot his name) at her house?
the black guy name is Eggs…and all i really want to know wth is that creature with the horns thats going to attack Sookie…i think thats what Maryann turns too
*BCUZ* she looked at Sookie in a weird way when she noticed that Sookie wants tara to move in with her as if she’s [jealous] also i think she killed the vampire that Eric is looking for that went missing..bcuz he said that vampire is ten times stronger than him..and no other vampire nor human can kill a strong vampire like that but the creature that I think Maryann turns too…
In the book it is the Light of Day Church that took the missing vampire. But the book and the show are way different so who knows….

I am wondering normally Louisiana has a heavily populated black culture, why are there only 2 regular black people on true blood ie Lafyette and Tara?
