You may be wondering what season one of SouthLAnd has in common with True Blood. Kevin Alejandro, that’s what! Kevin played gang detective Nate Moretta on the show, and as you know, he’s been cast as Jesus Velasquez on True Blood.
SouthLAnd was picked up by TNT and begins airing its second season March 2nd, on Tuesday nights, at 10/9 central. However, you will now have the chance to win the entire first season on DVD, right here!

I love Southland because all the elements come together so well to make it a great show(story, acting, direction), I also love the chemistry between the cast, and that it’s a no-holds bar show.

Well i got to tell you that it is pretty cool, but one thing i hate is that some of these people just lie to get it. I dont understand what is the point is about it, but if i do win and i dont win that much is that i would let my friends borrow it when ever. They are crazy about it and i mean more then i am. I mean they bought like alot of the true blood stuff even bought me some. I love them like sisters.
Even though I did not watch all of the second season I did watch the first and I loved it. We had the living room filled up of people just watching the first season. It was cool. Then the next night we was all reading the books. That same night we got through the whole book, and talked about it. We do this often as you can tell.
Such a great cast! Big love for Regina King and it’s good to have another vehicle to showcase Ben McKenzie.
I love SouthLAnd’s cast. I think it was brilliant in the actors and actress they cast. But I love how the story lines are so real and pertinent to what the crime of today is. The action scenes are great too.

My two favorite things about SouthLand are the amazing cast and the hand-held camera work that makes it so realistic.
I love the cast…the true nature of the action and the honesty with which the actors portray the characters. I am excited about watching it again this year on TNT.

Here’s what I love about Southland, it’s genuine. It’s gritty. I love the characters and the plots. I am so glad TNT picked it up for Season 2 since NBC rudely dropped it mid season w/ episodes not shown. Made me mad! Now if TNT would only rescue Trauma from the castoff pile from NBC.

I’ve only seen the show a couple of times but I really enjoyed it. They have great characters and storylines. I love Regina King and that she is what prompted me to watch!
