True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgard was (nicely) photographed at the launch of the fourth edition of The Last Magazine in New York this week. Check out those photos in our gallery, which we found at SkarsgardNews.com.

Sam Trammell spoke to Sunday Mercury from Paris where True Blood is a hit and fan reactions have been staggering. He gives us his own insight to Sam Merlotte, but doesn’t give much away in the spoilers field.

“There’s a little bit of a love story for him and it’s requited this time – which we all love to have. So it’s nice to see Sam open up a bit, we see another side of him. But he still has a lot of weight on his shoulders, a lot of responsibility for the town and he feels very protective.”

Sam’s thoughts on Sam!

Sam says: “I really like that he is damaged person, I came from a very normal American family which is great, I don’t want to put it down, but Sam’s parents abandoned him when he was 14 because he turned into a dog and that is a real scar on him.

This just in: Alexander Skarsgard is among a list of celebs nominated for the Saturn Award. Yesterday the Academy of Science Fiction Fantasy & Horror Films announced their nominees. Alex is up for Best Supporting Actor against “Lost” actors, Jeremy Davies and Michael Emerson, “Leverage” Aldis Hodge, and “Breaking Bad” actor Aaron Paul. Over-night fan (almost literally) of the Sookie Stackhouse series since early 2008. Co-owner of True-Blood.net. Anxiously anticipating season 6.
