I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how Alan Ball can take an actor/actress who isn’t well known so you don’t associate them with a particular part with the exception of Evan Rachel Wood. Although Anna Paquin is well known she didn’t stand out to me as a particular character until Sookie came along for her. He’s not quite what you would expect but at the same time that’s good, I’m sure he will rock the part. Here is a better pic of him though..

I am not sure this is how I pictured Calvin Norris? This guy is not very big, unless I am not remembering him correctly. Hey but who am I to judge Alan Ball, he is a genius!

I too did not imagine Gregory Sporledar for the roll of Calvin but, I’ve read the Sookie stackhouse book series so I’m a little bias however, I would never want to second guess a genius like Alan Ball. Alan Ball has a “third” eye when it come to casting actors for any particular roll. Between six feet under and True Blood I would say he knows what he’s doing.

Greg is a great actor and would love to see his character expanded in True Blood.
