Nelsan Ellis Nominated for NAACP Award

True Blood breakout Nelsan Ellis has been nominated for an NAACP Image Award in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category. Lafayette’s mama, Alfre Woodard, was also nominated as an Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, but for her role on TNT’s Memphis Beat. Winners will be announced during the NAACP Image Awards telecast on March 4 on FOX.
