Season 4 Spoilers: Jason and Tara
As always, if you don’t want to be spoiled, don’t read any further.
Michael Ausiello got True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten to drop a teeny piece of Jason news for season 4, recently. Ryan told him that Jason will be dealing with issues related to his latest flame, Crystal, who is a were-panther. He’s also going to keep is cop job. Er? Jason? Oh Andy, what did you do!
Rutina Wesley says that Tara will definitely be back in Bon Temps, however she did not say exactly when. Rutina did let drop that Tara may be returning with some power of her own. I’m thinking this is more of a character evolution than an actual power. After all she’d been through, she couldn’t come out of that unscathed. Maybe the ‘power’ she returns with is an even worse BF than Franklin Mott?

I read all 10 books and several of the short stories that go with them regularly. Book 4 is by far one of my favorites, but hope you keep reading them because they get better and better. he he he. They make me want to watch True Blood all the more because of them.
We haven’t seen anything of JB, so maybe she will work him in as a Bubba/JB/Witch mixture and have Tara carrying their twins which will give her some power of her own too. Of course she is related to Laffayette so anything is possible.
Completely agree, they need to bring it back to the books and adding JB will make it so much easier.
it would be nice to give tara a story line that involved the witches. remember what lafayette mom said that he was special maybe she went crazy trying to protect him from some strange power. what ever the story i love seeing her and ellis work together…
Liz and I talked about this in the latest vodcast: if Lafayette inherited powers from his grandmother, shouldn’t Tara have some as well? I believe they share that same grandmother.
Gosh, I was wishing for Tara to leave Bon Temps for a while (as in forever) and let some of the other storylines come forward.
I have often times wondered why they do not create a storyline for Pam. Maybe this coming season we will see more of Miss Pam and less of Tara’s quivering lip.
