Sookie Book 12 Is Finished, Title Chosen Says Charlaine Harris

Charlaine Harris updated her Facebook page today with the news that the 12th book in the Sookie Stackhouse novels is finished and off to her editors. She also shared the title of the book:
What a relief to send DEADLOCKED into my editor(s). Now I can rest easy for a little while, until I get the revisions back. A writer’s dream — to have your editor tell you there’s not a single change necessary . . .
Anyone care to speculate on the meaning of the title? Deadlocked will be available in bookstores in May 2012.

I think the title is referring to Sookie and her current lover reaching a point that neither will be able to see a future together…really hope I’m wrong.
That’s what I though of too. However, if Sookie and Eric continue to have unresolved issues into book 13, that makes it more likely that they will end up together. If book 12 is still about Sookie/Eric, how will Charlaine have enough time in book 13 to transition into a Sookie/Sam pairing? She may end the series with Sookie alone, which is really the only thing that could disappoint me.
How exciting! Though I hope it’s more substance and less filler than the past couple have been.
I don’t get the “filler” complaint I’ve seen some fans lodge against the last couple of books. It hasn’t been all action, sure, but we’ve seen Sookie dealing with a lot of internal issues and relationship developments (romantic, familial, friendly). From my perspective, these last two books have been about Sookie’s character growth rather than explosions, orgies, or werebattles.
I LOVED Dead Reckoning, and judging from the teasers in that book, I now have a pretty good idea why she will be calling this one Deadlocked. Ok, so just completely guessig and obsessing. Thank heavens for True Blood, because I have been going nuts waiting for the Sookie Stackhouse Companion and know I will be insanely obsessing about Deadlocked from now on too. TB gives me an hour a week to not do that. he he he. (Just ask my family, they love TB but sort of HATE Sookie now, just because I am a little over the top)
I thought she is with Eric in the previous book
Cant wait to get my hand´s on the book next spring . Maybe the title refuring more to the marrige Eric´s maker arrenged . Or maybe a little of both . Maybe i´m the only one but i still think Eric and Bill acted like the alway´s done , and maybe more and more like the show character´s in the latest ones .
