Kristin Bauer Van Straten Heads “Out for Africa”

By  |  2 Comments

Kristin Bauer Van Straten and her husband, Abri, are heading to Africa to film a documentary about the poaching of Rhino and elephant horns. The film is called “Out for Africa”, and they’ll also be exploring the wonders of this beautiful land and its people. It’s a huge undertaking for the couple, but it’s something that is dear to their hearts. They’re going to need some help in financing though and that’s where Truebies come in. Kristin tells you all about it in this video.

So far they’ve collected close to $14,000 but their goal is $30,000 and there is only 26 days left on this kickstarter project, as of this post. It’s a worthy cause and I feel sure that Pam’s followers and many more can help get the funds together for it. Click on the link below for complete details on prizes Kristin is offering for backers and more on the documentary itself.

Wow! Is she an awesome person or what? I am always inspired by celebs who use fame to help worthy causes. It seems that all of the entertainment headlines are about whatever celebrity topped the most scandalous event of the week, not anything positive.
I noticed quite a few of the TB cast do signings an so on, using there status to raise money for charity. I just went to a dinner party last with with Joe Manganiello that benefited our local Childrens Hospital.
Good For Kristen! I hope her efforts pay off, and that she continues to spread
