Michael McMillian played a whole new Steve Newlin on True Blood this season, but in addition to this revamped character, Michael has been busy working on the new series of True Blood comics. After a successful stint co-writing Tainted Love, the second volume in the True Blood comics series, as well as his own series, Lucid, Michael is now headlining the new, on-going True Blood comic series that asks “where were you?” when the vampires came out of the coffin.  We caught up with Michael at Comic Con last month and sat down for a quick chat about Steve Newlin and the comics.
