Charlaine Harris Pays Last Respects in Season 7 Finale

By  |  8 Comments

Even Charlaine Harris, author of the Sookie Stackhouse  book series which True Blood is based on, pays her last respects in a cameo appearance on finale. There could be no better way to say goodbye than to have Charlaine come back on the show as it takes its final bow. Thanks for writing the stories that inspired Alan Ball to pitch a series to HBO, Ms. Harris! We’ll catch you on the bookshelves.

Over-night fan (almost literally) of the Sookie Stackhouse series since early 2008. Co-owner of True-Blood.net. Anxiously anticipating season 6.

The photo at the top of this story is from Charlaine’s season 1 appearance. Neat way to bookend the series, eh?

HBO won’t be streaming new content on Amazon as they want people to be subscribers to their network to see that. I would expect season 4 to start streaming in 2015, season 5 in 2016, etc.

I don’t think they are quite finished. We’ve had no word of a cast wrap party, which they will have. Charlaine may have just come in to shoot her scene which may have been arranged around her schedule. That’s my guess anyway.

Thank you for your kind words, Bella. This site takes up a LOT of our time, but we do also run thefairytalesite.net and nicegirlstv.com if you’d like to check those out. We are considering launching a fansite for a new show this fall; what do you think we should tackle?
