True Blood Season 5 Casting News (SPOILERS!)

You read that correctly, True Blood season 5 casting news is already here!

As we first reported three weeks ago, the show was casting a character named Patrick Devins to appear in the season 4 finale and recur in season 5. TVLine is reporting that Scott Foley (Felicity, Scrubs, Grey’s Anatomy) has landed the role of Terry’s ruggedly attractive army buddy, Patrick. Foley will appear in at least 7 episodes, but no further details about the character have emerged.

What do you think about the casting? I never though of Foley as “ruggedly attractive,” more “adorably attractive,” but it’s all in the styling. I can totally see him and Todd Lowe’s Terry as buddies.
