The men of True Blood were honored at the GQ Men of Year Awards last night. Alexander Skarsgard attended the event in Los Angeles, where he met up with Straw Dogs co-star Kate Bosworth. The man definitely has a style all his own. Check out photos in the Gallery.

Ryan Kwanten attended the GQ Men of the Year Awards in Australia last night. Photos aren’t available on Wireimage yet, but Lainey Gossip has some. Posted photos of Ryan in the Gallery! Loving the dark hair! Stephen Moyer is busy filming on location, so was unable to attend.

After spending the weekend with True Blood fans at EyeCon in Florida, Sam Trammell headed to New York where he attended the cast party for The Starry Messenger (co-starring Sam’s significant other, Missy Yager) on Monday and ARTWALK on Tuesday. Photos are in the Gallery.

First Photo of Ryan Kwanten as Griff The Invisible

Several weeks ago we brought word that Ryan Kwanten will play superhero Griff the Invisible in the Australian film by the same name. Today we have the first photo of Ryan as Griff, straight from the movie’s official website!

Adorable, no? Griff is an office worker by day and a superhero by night whose world is turned upside down when he meets Melody, a beautiful scientist, played by Maeve Dermody. The romantic comedy is tentatively scheduled for release in Australia in summer 2010.

True Blood’s Rutina Wesley and Sam Trammell hosted Yelloween last night at Lavo night club in Las Vegas. Rutina dressed as a sexy pirate wench while Sam went as a Viking wizard. Think he’s trying to cash in on the hot Viking vampire/Harry Potter popularity? See more photos in the Gallery.

Yeah, we thought the title of the event was confusing, too, so we looked it up: it was for some fancy leather sneakers. We’re more impressed with Alex’s fancy leather jacket! Yes, we know Eric isn’t really a villain, but whatever gets Alex on stage, right? Alan Ball and Sam Trammell attended the GLSEN Respect Awards on Friday. The event honored HBO, David Bohnett, and Shonda Rhimes for their commitment to all America’s students, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression. See more photos in the Gallery.

Ryan Kwanten was home in Australia for the Inside Film nominations. The Inside Film Awards celebrate films made in Australia. The ceremony takes place November 18 and tickets are available now. It looks like Ryan has darkened his hair; is that for a film role? See more photos in the Gallery.

PHOTOS: Stephen Moyer, Rutina Wesley Attend Premieres

Last night saw True Blood stars out and about on two continents. Stephen Moyer attended the premiere of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, the film Heath Ledger was working on when he died in 2008. Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell stepped in to play the role of Tony after Ledger’s death. See more photos in the Gallery.

Speaking of Jude Law, Rutina Wesley stepped out last night for the debut of his Hamlet on Broadway. After a successful run in London’s West End, Law’s production of Hamlet runs through December 6 in New York. See more photos in the Gallery.
