True Blood News Round-Up: Michael McMillian, Sex Scenes, Joe Manganiello

With the True Blood season finale upon us, news is starting to pour in again. Let’s do a quick round-up to make sure we don’t miss anything.

• Michael McMillian (Rev. Steve Newlin) will be signing copies of his new comic book, LUCID, at Collector’s Paradise in Winnetka, CA on Saturday, September 11, from 1-3PM.
• Nerve.com lists eight True Blood sex scenes you should not try at home, including a handy list of the hazards you may encounter should you choose not to heed their advice.
• Joe Manganiello (Alcide) is confirmed as a guest at Eyecon in Orlando, FL, in November. Last year’s first Eyecon was a huge success; we look forward to hearing fan reports again this year!
• DreadCentral.com interviewed True Blood composer Nathan Barr about his work on the series and the genre movies he’s scored this year.
• True Blood baddie Denis O’Hare sat down with Radio Planet for a hilarious interview on everything from possible guest stars (Sarah Palin?) to wearing fangs to playing a good guy.
• Michael Raymond James (Rene) stars in Terriers, premiering tonight on FX. It’s getting terrific reviews and we couldn’t be happier for him!
