True Blood on the Big Screen?

News is spreading that HBO is contemplating  a True Blood movie in the near future. Speculations are that some time after the fourth season, this may get a green light. Alan Ball may head up the project, but that’s not set in stone. I think it would be silly for him not to take the reins on that, but I’m open to whatever.

I’m not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand, a True Blood movie would rock. However, if the series is still alive, what could the movie do? What story would it tell that the show won’t go into?
