Stephen Moyer Flips Car During Race, Still Comes in First

True Blood star Stephen Moyer is participating in the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race this weekend, and on the first day of competition he flipped his car after plowing into a wall. Various outlets are reporting that during the qualifying rounds today, Steve came out of a sharp turn, ran into a wall, and flipped the car. He walked away unscathed and in a press conference afterward described the experience as “a roller coaster ride.”

Despite the crash, Steve posted the fastest time and will take pole position in the race tomorrow. People Magazine awarded him the pole position trophy and made a $15,000 donation to charity in his name as a result. We’re just glad he lived to race another day!
