Going through True Blood withdrawal? Join us every Friday for a recommendation of something to read, watch, do, or listen to during the months until True Blood returns in June 2010.

EyeCon is proud to present the first True Blood convention! The event runs November 13-15, 2009, in Orlando, Florida, and features some pretty awesome guests: Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte), Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette Reynolds), Allan Hyde (Godric), and Ashley Jones (Daphne) are all confirmed for the weekend’s festivities. That’s right, you get to hang out with some of the stars of True Blood, as well as fellow fans.

One of the great things about EyeCon is the level of interaction with the special guests. The weekend kicks off with a cocktail party which most of the celebrity guests will attend, there’s the buffet style celebrity banquet, plus autograph and photo sessions. EyeCon will also be auctioning off breakfast dates with the various guests closer to the event.

We have two pairs of Gold tickets and two pairs of Silver tickets up for grabs; find out how to enter below.

• Please only enter if you’re serious about being able to attend.
• Prizes are for tickets only; transportation, lodging, meals, etc. are your responsibility.
• Comments must be posted by 11:59PM on Thursday, October 1, 2009, to be eligible.
• Four (4) winners will be drawn from eligible entries. The first two (2) names drawn will each receive a pair of Gold tickets; the second two (2) names drawn will each receive a pair of Silver tickets.
