Fan Reports from Eye Con

Two of our forum members have been reporting in from Orlando, FL, as they attend Eye Con. We will keep updating this post as they report back to us, but here’s what they have to say so far:

Raki just got back from the Todd Lowe Q & A, and she shares a few tid-bits he let fall:

  • Todd is in a band he plays the guitar and mandolin. He did have some cds with, so I might try and buy one later.
  • The infamous possum prick was actually fake! We asked if he got to keep it and he said no.
  • According to Todd, Stephen or as he called him “Moyer” was the biggest goof/ prankster. With Ryan being a close second.
  • He also hinted, but no confirmation that he may be “dealing with a pregnancy” during the next season.
  • (Terry’s going to be preggers??!)

Raki also tells us that although she missed the first half of Ashley Jones’ interview, she did catch her admitting to having a crush on Sam and that she’s a big fan of Alexander Skarsgard.

Raki was there for the Sam Trammell Q & A and says that he was “amazing”! He told fans:

  • Sam confirmed that he will be searching for his brother next season, and is getting ready to start running test lines with potential actors for the role.
  • Filming should start in 2 – 3 weeks, he just got some scripts sent to him this morning.

Raki says, “Another thing I thought was interesting that he shared with us is that they originally planned to have Sam burn down part of Merlotte’s to get the frenzied crowd out! Then they would show the town helping out to rebuild the bar, but the writers and everyone decided not to go that route last minute as it would have been to much work to do / write in.

And remember how we couldn’t figure out how Sam changed into the bull with out seeing one first? Well again this was due to a cut scene, the plan was to have Bill show up with a bull for him to use prior to attending the wedding. I assume this would have taken place shortly after Bill confronted Sam at the bar.”

Thank you, Raki! Remember to check back here throughout the weekend as the fans check in with their stories!

Over-night fan (almost literally) of the Sookie Stackhouse series since early 2008. Co-owner of True-Blood.net. Anxiously anticipating season 6.
