I recently had the opportunity to read A Taste of True Blood: The Fangbanger’s Guide, and I have to recommend it for Truebies everywhere. Basically, this anthology is compiled of  many essays written by fans and talking about everything from what a Louisiana setting adds to the traditional vampire myth to why the television series had to be different from the books.

These talented writers brought out details I didn’t even think of and many that I did. They do a wonderful job of illuminating certain aspects of the show that may have been a bit puzzling to the viewer. I enjoyed it immencely and I think it would make a nice addition to your coffee table as you run your DVDs of seasons 1 and 2.
