Thanksgiving is coming up this Thursday, here in the States. I got to thinking that True Blood has brought about many things I’m thankful for since its premiere. Here are only five.
- Alan Ball – His work is always brilliant, whether it be True Blood, Six Feet Under, An American Beauty, Towelhead, or anything else he puts his talent to. He takes us to places we are usually afraid to admit that we go. Thanks, Alan!
- Awesome Opportunities – Because of True Blood we’ve met some really awesome people, including crew members of the show, up and coming authors and their books and TV and films that I would never have given a second thought to before.
- Music – Thanks to Nathan Barr and fans of the show, I’ve found more new music that I thoroughly enjoy and now, can’t live without.
- Fun – If you’ve visited our forums you have seen how much fun we can have in there! I have laughed till I’ve cried at some of the stories and comments posted in there. It’s kind of quiet right now, but come on in and join us anyway. Start something new!
- Truebies – You guys are the best that fandom has to offer. Creative, humorous and intelligent, you keep conversations here so lively. Whether you’re from the U.S. or elsewhere, you continue to add sparkle to each news item or editorial posted here. It’s a pleasure to be here every day, and during show season, it’s tons of fun to do Live Chats with all of you.
