See PLAY DEAD In New York With True Blood Fan Special

Dying for a deliciously macabre diversion now that True Blood’s on hiatus? Get your fix of fright on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 19TH AT 7:00 PM at Play Dead, the new thriller playing Off-Broadway at The Players Theatre!
At this point, you’re probably well past getting scared by haunted houses, but you haven’t been entertained in an abandoned-looking theater, lit by a single ghost light leading you on a darkly comedic journey, encouraging the dead to speak to you.

Play Dead takes a more mysterious road than what’s generally seen on, off or anywhere near the great white way. Co-writer TODD ROBBINS (“Dark Deceptions”) stars as the audience’s storytelling guide on an evening exploring death, darkness, and deception. Magician, comedian and dark arts expert TELLER (Penn & Teller), is the director and other co-writer. Their collaboration and combined knowledge and expertise in the underworld promise to take the audience into uncharted supernatural waters, loaded with haunting surprises and plenty of shrieking nervous laughter.

Tickets are just $35 for vampire aficionados like yourself when you use code TRUEBLOOD. Finally, a place where you can scream, squirm and subject yourself to an evening of spine-chilling delight!

*Join us for Happy Hour at Slane Public House (102 MacDougal St) from 5pm -7pm. Show your Play Dead ticket stub and receive great drink specials! The kitchen will be open if you are interested in a devilishly delightful last meal. Don’t forget to try the PLAY DEAD COCKTAIL…IT’S TO DIE FOR!
