True Blood composer Nathan Barr will be part of a panel of talented musical minds at WonderCon next week.

Six of the top composers in film, television and video games are slated to speak for the program, Behind the Music with CW3PR: Composing for Sci-Fi, Horror and Fantasy Film &TV at San Francisco’s WonderCon entertainment convention. The discussion will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 1 in Moscone Center’s Room 104.

Bryan Fuller, creator of ABC’s Pushing Daisies and a producer of NBC’s Heroes, will moderate the panel; among those slated to appear are Nathan Barr (True Blood, The Last Exorcism), Marco Beltrami (V, Scream 4), Sean Callery (24), Jim Dooley (Pushing Daisies), Scott Starrett (The Event), and Michael Suby (The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars).

All of the composers will share their respective projects, discuss the pivotal relationship between director and composer, and reveal how they got their big break in the music composing industry, with a fan-led Q&A to follow.  Attendees will receive exclusive giveaways and be the first to view (and hear) some surprise sneak-peaks from upcoming projects. Day and weekend passes can be purchased through WonderCon’s website.
