SPOILERS: True Blood Episode 4.08 Title, Casting

Rhoswen7 from IMDb has the latest True Blood season 4 casting call. Episode 4.08 is called “Spellbound” and was written by Alan Ball, so it should be a meaty one. Filming begins April 11 in Los Angeles.

For this episode, they’re casting Virgil, a “harshly handsome” 35-year-old Caucasian with “a cold and ruthless streak”. We’ll see him in a flashback to the 1930s, but as part of whose storyline?

Bill continues to be in an position of authority when he charms a female reporter from the local TV news. She’s talking with that troublemaker Maxine Fortenberry when Bill shows up and interrupts. The reporter is more than willing to give Bill a public forum while, we assume, Maxine fumes in the background.

Also being cast is Rita, simply described as an attractive maternal woman in her 40s. One of Maxine’s friends?
