Lara Pulver Joins SPOOKS

Lara Pulver plays Claudine
Lara Pulver, aka Claudine, has been cast in the new season of Spooks for BBC One (it’s known as MI-5 in the U.S.). She’ll play Erin Watts, an ambitious spy, in the tenth season of the show. Production on Spooks is just getting underway and the role of Claudine isn’t huge, but True Blood is only about 2/3 finished filming season 4. Does this mean Claudine is absent for the final third of the season? Or will Lara simply fly back to L.A. when she needs to play a fae?
Side note: My friend Alexander Siddig appeared in a season 2 episode of Spooks, “Nest of Angels” that generated the most controversy for BBC in decades and was even written up in an academic journal. Clearly Lara isn’t shy of provocative series!
