Neko Case, Nick Cave Reunite for True Blood Soundtrack

Neko Case and Nick Cave haven’t shared a concert bill in a decade, but they’re reuniting for True Blood according to music director Gary Calamar. At a recent industry event, Calamar revealed that Case and Cave have recorded a cover of the Zombies’ “She’s Not There” to play over the closing credits of the True Blood season 4 premiere. The episode is also titled “She’s Not There”, continuing the tradition of the episode sharing the name of a song. You can hear their version of the song when True Blood premieres Sunday, June 26 on HBO.
