Star Wars on True Blood, Part 2: Janina Gavankar Strikes Back

Curt Wagner from Chicago Tribune’s Red Eye has been covering the verbal war between True Blood‘s newest shifters, Marshall Allman and Janina Gavankar. Sparked by the Funny or Die video that “leaked” showing Marshall’s shapeshifting techniques while filming a scene between Tommy and Luna, he was apparently quite upset and embarrassed by the whole thing, and blamed Janina for the leak. He had some pretty harsh words for the lady, but Janina is not one to let things go on without fighting back.

Allman accused Gavankar of “stirring up a hornet’s nest” with her antics. Gavankar responds with “I definitely did not invite those cameras to the set. I assumed they were part of his large entourage,” Gavankar wrote from the Austin set of the indie film, “Satellite of Love.”

As to Allman implying that Gavankar is secretly in love with him, Janina says, “Classic narcissism. “I think the footage speaks for itself. As always, I try to conduct myself in a professional manner.”

We will be following this story as it continues to unfold, so stay tuned.
