Stephen Moyer Joins Board of Directors for the CLARE Foundation

True Blood star Stephen Moyer has joined the board of directors for the CLARE Foundation, the organization announced.

The CLARE Foundation is a nonprofit organization providing effective and compassionate treatment, recovery, and prevention services for alcoholism and substance abuse. Stephen joins CLARE’s 20 current board members, who include leaders from the financial, civic, entertainment, and philanthropic realms. The board is responsible for providing organizational and fiduciary oversight and ensuring that CLARE continues to successfully serve its mission.

Stephen was previously honored for his contributions to the field of recovery at CLARE’s annual Tribute Dinner in 2010, and has volunteered in CLARE’s Drug Court program for over two years.
