True Blood News: Emmy Death Match – True Blood vs. Dexter; Vampire Obituaries and Best Baddie Award

Yes, it’s time for a news roundup again and with Comic Con just around the corner, keep your peepers glued to this site for updates, photos and interviews as they come in.

FEARnet has launched an Emmy Death Match in honor of the Emmy nominations announcement that came out this week. True Blood takes on Dexter in a fight to the, well, death! I have never watch one single episode of Dexter, so you, dear readers, will have to be the judge as to whether or not this was a fair fight. Dexter won if only slightly, but as a die-hard Truebie, can we really let them get away with this?

Remember those crazy kids from last year who started their own True Blood viral campaign with wooden stakes? They’re back! This time, though, they may have gone just a bit too far. Custom obituaries for registered vampires? I think they’ve been glamored. They suckered their Facebook followers (d’you see what I did there?) into registering themselves at I Am Vampire, and then they gathered up pertinent information and created these:

E!Online is running their Tator Top Awards and Alexander Skarsgard is once again up for Best Baddie. You can vote for him if you like, but I voted for Damon Salvatore. What? He’s badder than Eric any day. Eric Northman is a sweetie, you just wait and see!
