Truebies: Take Five Seconds To Make A Difference

Fans are awesome. You know it. We know it. But what you may not know is that in the past few years, fans of everything from True Blood to Harry Potter to Twilight and more have raised tons of money for different charities. For those who remember, we did it once before. Back in January 2010, true-blood.net joined up with our friends at the Harry Potter Alliance (who happen to be big True Blood fans as well) to raise over $123,000 for Haiti.

But what if we untied again? And what if all the fans of all the different stories out there united with us as well to help the world?

The Harry Potter Alliance wants to form with us the first ever United Fan Coalition where fans of ALL KINDS celebrate the stories, movies, and artists they love by helping the world.

True Blood fans are some of the most devoted and passionate people out there, with the numbers and the heart to make a difference in a big way! Imagine what we could accomplish if we joined up with other fandoms to support literacy and raise money for charity.
